Solid or engineered herringbone?
Both are available. Engineered boards are very stable and suit underfloor heating. Solid timber can be sanded many times over its life. Mark will recommend what suits your home.
Does herringbone work with underfloor heating?
Yes, with the right engineered boards. We will check your heating and subfloor at the visit.
Which rooms suit herringbone?
Hallways, living rooms, kitchens and dining rooms all suit it. It is equally at home in a period house or a new build.
Is it hard to look after?
No. A sealed or oiled floor is easy to clean and maintain, which suits busy family homes.
